UX & UI 101
We start with a short but powerful introduction to user experience and user interface design. What is UX? What is UI? How do they work together? And why are they essential for successful digital products?
UX principles and best practices
We cover the key principles every UX designer should understand, including usability, consistency, hierarchy, accessibility, and more.
Wireframing
Wireframing is an essential technique in the UX process. You will learn how an idea evolves from a sketch to a structured layout and which principles guide that process.
Forms, inputs & UI elements
In this section, you will learn best practices for forms and input fields, and how to use specific UI elements to improve usability and conversion.
User testing & Usability tests
Curious about user testing and how to organise a usability test? We share practical tips, techniques, and guidelines so you can confidently apply this in your own projects.
UI tools & guidelines
Which tools should you use for wireframes, designs, and prototypes? We also explore current trends and guidelines in modern UX design.
Figma community

The interface
New to Figma? No worries. We’ll walk you through the interface: where to find every tool, button and feature, and what they actually do. By the end, navigating Figma will feel second nature.
Designing in Figma
Time to get your hands dirty. You’ll design your own interface in Figma, guided step by step through interactive exercises. By the end, you won’t just know how to use Figma, you’ll have done it.
Design systems
Brands like Apple, Microsoft and Google all have them, but what exactly is a design system? We’ll explain how they work, how to build or use one yourself, and where to find the best examples out there.
Auto Layout & Componenten
Prototyping turns static screens into interactive experiences. We’ll help you transform your earlier design into a working prototype, so you can feel how your flows behave on an actual device.
Collaboration
Designing is rarely a solo mission. You’ll learn how to ask for feedback using comments, collaborate in real time with other designers, and hand off your work to developers using built-in inspect tools. It all comes together in the final chapter.
Testing with the Figma app

To wrap up the training, we bring everything together in one final exercise. You will apply everything you learned over the past two days and recreate a complete interface step by step in Figma.
