User-friendly web portals for Tourism Flanders

Visit Flanders was looking for a front-end developer with Angular expertise to support their team. The mission: help build and improve public-facing portals with meaningful social impact.

Our consultant worked embedded in the Toerisme Vlaanderen team on two key processes that make tourism more accessible and efficient. On the one hand, we helped build a subsidy portal for tourism operators: a digital and CRM-driven system that streamlines the entire application process and speeds up approvals — without paperwork. On the other hand, we gave the “Everyone Deserves Vacation” platform a visual makeover, making it easier for people with a social rate to book vacations in their own country, while partners such as Plopsaland and day trip organizations can easily register. From request to trip: simplicity, transparency and humanity are key.
