During this two-day advanced training, we go deeper into the professional use of Figma. We start with a short interactive recap, then move quickly into more advanced topics, including logical components, design tokens, advanced prototyping, variables, and AI tools in Figma.
Every exercise is hands-on. You learn by doing. At the end of day two, participants work together on a mini design sprint to build a working prototype.

What will you learn during the training?
UX & UI refresh
We start with a short but energetic refresh. Through an interactive quiz and live exercises, we activate your knowledge of UX, UI, and Figma. Not as repetition, but as a starting point to reflect on the challenges you or your team may have faced before.
Components and variants
Learn to think in systems. You will discover how nested components and variants with booleans, slots, and properties help you build scalable and structured designs.
Variables in practice
We create themes using variables for spacing, colours, breakpoints, and more. You will learn how to switch between light and dark mode with a single toggle and how to structure that logic within your design system.
Auto layout
Everyone fills out forms — they’re familiar, they’re everywhere, but not always user-friendly.In this chapter, you’ll discover best practices for forms and input fields, and learn how smart UI elements can drive better conversions.
Dev Mode
In this module, you learn how to collaborate smoothly with developers using Figma. We show you how to prepare designs so they can be translated into code without friction, how to structure properties and tokens clearly, and how Dev Mode helps developers inspect and implement designs efficiently.
AI in Figma
AI in design is not a gimmick if you know when and how to use it. We introduce the most useful tools, demonstrate realistic applications, and challenge you to think critically about where AI can truly improve your workflow.
Advanced prototyping
Prototypes should not only look good. They should feel real and communicate the experience clearly. In this session, you learn how to create smooth user flows using scroll effects, overlays and smart animations.
Mini design sprint
Time to get your hands dirty. You’ll design your own interface in Figma, guided step by step through interactive exercises. By the end, you won’t just know how to use Figma, you’ll have done it.
